In 2021, I began painting in oils and moved to the south of Portugal.
I was living in the outback, painting and being outside almost all the time.
I wanted to feel color in my body —
to melt into the nature surrounding me.
And I did.
I got completely lost in that dissolving process.

Make one ten,
Let two go,
Make three equal,
Then you’re rich.
Lose the four,
From five and six
Make seven and eight,
Nine is one –
And ten is none.
